Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu Released
Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu, the revolutionary prisoner Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu, who was detained in Germany on the evening of 3 December 2016, was taken from the prison where he stayed in this morning and was extradited to the Netherlands. He was released after the official procedures in the Netherlands.
Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu was detained on 3 December 2016 in Hamburg in Germany during an operation against his house. Detained, AÅŸoÄŸlu was then arrested and sent to prison. Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu, whose trial started after the investigation against him and 85 hearings who were held in total, was wanted to be tried by the German state because of his thoughts. Although he had no criminal offence on German soil. Every moment of AÅŸoÄŸlu's 85 hearings, he shouted in German courts that it cannot be considered a crime to judge imperialism, to embrace Marxist-Leninist thought and revolutionary thoughts, to carry antifascist struggle against fascism and revolutionary thoughts. Despite, refuting all the accusations of the German authorities, the court sentenced AÅŸoÄŸlu to 6 years and 9 months imprisonment for his thoughts in order to protect especially the commercial relations with Turkey.
In order to serve the full six years and nine months, the German state resorted to all kinds of unlawful practices and imposed punishment upon punishment. However, while AÅŸoÄŸlu should have been released despite the expiry of two-thirds of his sentence, which he was entitled to, he continued his unlawfulness by issuing a rejection decision.
The German state continued its pressure with a new decision against AÅŸoÄŸlu, who continued his revolutionary thoughts against all kinds of practices. This time Germany said, "We will deport you as soon as your sentence is over. We will not harbour you on German soil even for a minute." He continued his lawlessness with his decision. However, it was known that there was not a single criminal offence committed by AÅŸoÄŸlu on German soil! The only aim was to purify or dissuade him from his thoughts. The only reason for this treatment, despite the fact that he refuted all kinds of accusations of Germany with evidence at every moment of the 85 hearings, was the thoughts he carried. AÅŸoÄŸlu filed a lawsuit against Germany's decision to deport Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu, emphasising why this practice was unlawful and that the German state had trampled on its own law with this decision. The lawsuit filed by AÅŸoÄŸlu against Germany's extradition decision was heard on 20 July. On the day of the court, the German state, without entering into any political debate, informed him that the decision they had taken would be implemented and stated that all means would be used to fulfil this implementation.
The German state didn't stop its practices on AÅŸoÄŸlu and summoned him to an extraordinary court last week. The court committee demanded his extradition and the address where he'll stay in the country he'll go. AÅŸoÄŸlu emphasised to the court committee that, its sentence would be over in a few days and that, with the decision taken by Germany, he would be extradited to the Netherlands where he resided. And that all his requests, his life assurance, were rejected by the same court and he said: "I will be extradited with your decision. Why do you want the address where I will stay? What will you do with my address? If you want my address, let the German Ministry of Justice officially request it by applying to the Dutch Ministry of Justice. Why do you want to impose a signature on me? And how will you carry out this inspection? Will the German police come and inspect me on Dutch territory? It is a crime to carry out intelligence work on the territory of a foreign country. Will the German state continue to commit crimes on Dutch soil? Stop your lawlessness».
Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu was handed over to the Dutch authorities and extradited this morning after 6 years and 9 months. AÅŸoÄŸlu was released after his official initiatives.
6 years and 9 months Musa AÅŸoÄŸlu, who carried his revolutionary thoughts against all kinds of oppression and practices, is free.
